New Principal for Oak Hill
Oak Hill has announced herethat Mike Ovey has been appointed as the new Principal.
I had Mike (along with Garry Williams) in the Doctrine of God unit I studied last year and think that it is great news. Of course, Mike did cut his teeth lecturing at the best theological college in the world, Moore!

It is tempting to write one of a number of cheeky posts regarding the formative role that MTC has in the history of Oakhill at this point BUT we rejoice greatly that someone who knows God as well as Mike does has been given the responsibility of training others to make God known.

Indeed it is a cause for great celebration at God's continued goodness towards His servants. So good to see the evangelical tradition of Oak Hill continuing, and a great boost that it is an Englishman in charge too.

SMBC has its current roots in Moore College as well, but is now large enough to do the "Moore" thing of employing graduates as lecturers.
