My Mum and Dad
Mum just sent through one of their holiday snaps from Singapore.
I miss my Mum and Dad. While it is lovely to chat to Mum every week and catch up on what's going on for them, it's not the same as being able to randomly drop in and see how they are. We average about 4 visits a year - I try and go up to Qld a couple of times a year and they try and come down to Sydney a few times as well.
I'm excited because I booked my next trip to see them today. With all the conjestion and confusion expected for APEC I thought the best way to avoid it would be to get out of Sydney- so I'll head up to Qld on the Thursday afternoon and come back on the Saturday night.

Pack your woolies. It's freezing up here. (Well... we think it is!)

Your parents moved to QLD?

Yes - in August 2001 while I was living in Canberra. Mum's a real cane toad now - she even supports Qld in the State of Origin. Thankfully Dad has stayed loyal to the NSW cause.
